2015 Tampa GFDR Packet Pick-Up/Registration Details!
Hello Great Father’s Day Race Participants,
We’re looking forward to the 5k race this weekend, and we hope you are too! This post is meant to give you information for race day preparation. We want to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible for you!
Packet pick-up/Registration: (Includes shirt, race bib, and other goodies)
Choose one
- Saturday 6/20 (We would strongly recommend this option, as it will be more convenient and quicker for you on race day!)
- Location: Fit2Run (shoe store) at International Plaza Mall 2223 N Westshore Blvd
- Time: 11 a – 3 p
OR
Sunday (Race Day)
- Time: 7a
- Location: Al Lopez Park Tampa, FL 4810 N Himes Ave (Map Below). We’ll be at Shelter 311 (We’ll have signs)

- Day: Sunday, June 21
- Location: Al Lopez Park Tampa, FL 4810 N Himes Ave (Map Below). We’ll be at Shelter 311 (we’ll have signs)
- Packet pick-up/Registration: 7 a
- Race Start: 8 a
Bib Timing:
- New for the 2015 Race — The Bib that we’ll pass out at packet pick-up will have the timing strip right on it. You won’t have to do anything else, and no chips involved! Hooray!
Race Map (Below):
Registration/drinks/snacks/pictures will be at Shelter 311. About 10 minutes before the race, we’ll walk out to the race start, which is in the parking lot by the dog park. The start will be set up there.
- Parking: 400 spots in the lot in the park.
- Course: 5k 3.1 miles. (Course Map Below: “Al Lopez Paint”)
