Race Day – Coming 2022
This 5K race is at the gorgeous Al Lopez Park in Tampa, FL, which is across the street from Raymond James Stadium (where the Buccs play). This park is scenic, and there’s a lake with wildlife. There’s even a playground for the kiddos. It doesn’t get more peaceful or serene!
We offer free race pictures, performance t-shirt, custom bib, goodie bag, awards and prizes, food and drinks, and much more!

*Virtual 5K*
The Virtual 5K is for athletes around the United States who can’t make the Tampa or Sarasota Great Father’s Day Race. You’ll register and run/walk the 5K at your favorite scenic route that you choose. You will receive an official bib, performance t-shirt, and custom bib. Most importantly, you’ll be able to participate in the fun where ever they are! You’ll be able to rep the Great Father’s Day Race in your hometown!
We’d even suggest registering your entire family and friends, no matter where they live! You can run the Virtual 5K, take pictures, and share on social media. It’ll create awesome memories that you’ll cherish forever!
General Race Information
Parking
There are 400+ spots available in the parking lot, as well as an overflow parking lot. Since our race packet pick-up starts at 7a, and the race starts at 8a, you should have no problem at all finding a great spot to park!
Race Packet and Shirt Pick Up
Tampa Packet Pick-up: 2022 at Fit2Run International Plaza (2223 N Westshore Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607) from 4-7p.
**We suggest trying to hit the Fit2Run Packet Pick-up; it’s more convenient than race day, plus we have goodies that we hand out. Don’t miss it!
You will be able to pick up your race number with bib timing attached, goodie bag and performance t-shirt at the registration table on race day. There will also be an email that goes out to all registrants prior to the race with all pertinent information.
Performance T-Shirt
Great Father’s Day Race performance t-shirts will be given to all registrants.
Prizes for Top Age Group Finishers
Awards for 1st place finisher in age categories!

Snacks and Drinks
Snacks and beverages will be provided prior to the race and after the run. We’ll also have plenty of water on site as well for the thirsty participants!
